Life, Liberty And The Pursuit Of Happiness – It’s Biblical

It is the time of year, as we celebrate with family, good food and fireworks, for us to take a fresh look at our United States Constitution and to remember why it is so valuable and unique. But first we should understand that because of sin, there will never be a perfect system of government until Yeshua (Jesus) returns to set up His kingdom here on earth (Revelation 22).

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace (within). In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." ~Yeshua, John 16:33

Here in the Declaration of Independence is the basis of our Constitution. So what is Biblical about it? It is right here in this statement of truth: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men (meaning mankind which includes women) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."

Yahweh is our Creator, He came in human form as Yeshua to save us from our sins which keep us from knowing Him. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-5, 14, John 14:6)

Rights Come From Yahweh

First and foremost, we are all accountable to Yahweh whether we believe in Him or not. If He is not our Source, then no one has rights of any sort. If we forget that they come from Him then they can be taken away at any moment by anyone who has the most power. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget Yahweh. ~Psalm 9:17

The basis of our declaration and our constitution mirrors the Ten Commandments given to Moses and the Children of Israel which show us how to love and give honor to Yahweh as well as to love and respect people (Exodus 20).

In fact, this is love for Yahweh: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of Yahweh overcomes the world. ~1 John 5:3-4


Sovereign means independent, we are our own nation..... and Yahweh made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and boundaries (borders) of their habitation,... ~Acts 17:26    Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. ~Psalm 33:12


If our right to life is not continuously held in high regard by our nation, then no one will ever be safe. Each and every life is valuable to Yahweh no matter what race, gender, ethnicity, etc.

For You (Yahweh) formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; My soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; In Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. ~Psalm 139:13-16


A nation whose law is based on Judeo-Christian law, such as ours, is the most free that any nation will ever be when it is lived out righteously. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law. ~Galatians 5:22-23

One cannot be free, if one cannot live in an environment of safety: safety from crime, from slander, from slavery, from governmental tyranny, etc. This means we must lawfully pursue and maintain justice. It also means that we must maintain border security and carefully process visitors and immigrants. 

...law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers... ~1 Timothy 1:9  

Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, There is freedom. ~2 Corinthians 3:17

Live as a people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover up for evil, but living as servants of Yah. ~1 Peter 2:16

So what about individuals who are not Judeo-Christian? Yahweh's love is not about forcing nonbelievers to worship Him, the laws we have are for the protection of all people. The success of America is because of the uniqueness of our laws which give value to all.

Pursuit Of Happiness

One should not be hindered in their pursuit of the best that life has to offer, to live, to work, to be educated, to play, to rest, etc. unless they continually break the laws. This ability to pursue is a blessing and it does not mean it is free. In Yahweh's book, when we are blessed with wealth and health, we are called to bless others who are in need. Those who steal, intimidate, slander and stir up covetousness and strife are a hindrance to the needy as well as to those who have more.

Yes, there will always be greedy and self centered people who never help others. So what did Yeshua have to say about this? Then one from the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me." But He said to him, "Man who made Me a judge or arbitrator over you?" And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness (wanting the possessions of others), for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses. " ~Luke 12:13-14

Does life always work out fairly? Not necessarily. There will always be those less fortunate or poor. They are an opportunity to help or give. (John 12:8, Deuteronomy 15:11) The Bible teaches us not to covet and also not to be greedy (Luke 16:19-31).

You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. ~Psalm 128:2

Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. ~Luke 6:38


A precipice is a steep rocky cliff and we are on it. Our nation, our constitution and all that we hold dear are at high risk of being ripped apart and replaced by the Beast system of the New World Order. But lawlessness can only prevail for a season. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land. ~2 Chronicles 7:13-14 So it is either very close to time for His second coming or we have some more time. Either way, Yahweh Wins!!! (Revelation 22)

Building A House: Journal – Part 13

Tearing Down And Building Up

I was not sure if it was an appropriate time for a house building post, but the Lord showed me otherwise. I keep wondering why (oh why, lol) we decided to build our home rather that buying one already built to move right into. God's prefect timing can be frustrating when progress is hindered by drama, pestilence, weather, riots in the cities, you name it. He keeps reminding me that it is His schedule, by the way. I feel like I am preparing for guests that He will bring at just the right time.

I have had many of my belongings in storage for so long that I hardly remember what all I have, which means I need to get rid of some stuff. And in addition to the house and the garden, my crazy self decided to get chickens, you know, in case of famine we would have eggs.

And as I am working on this post, one of my dogs did not return from his morning run. So after running around like a headless chicken looking for him I finally found him in the laundry room where I had kept the baby chicks before I took them out to the coop last week. The devil is trying to keep me from writing today. Well guess what, devil, I have a roof and a post! Hah!!! And Halelu Yah!!!

The enemy of God and man, Satan, has been working, very successfully lately, to divide people into opposing groups using politics, media, censorship of truth, age, race, gender, gender confusion, and anything else that keeps us divided. Satan is the author of chaos and confusion which he uses to steal, kill and destroy. BUT GOD takes that momentum to confound the devil's plans to use it for His people, His purposes, and His glory (Genesis 50:20, Romans 8:28) POW!!!

As the world seems to be collapsing before our eyes, we wonder if it is time for the Lord's return. As I was driving the other day, He showed me something encouraging. First I saw a red concrete truck. I notice concrete trucks these days so I made a mental note that construction is taking place. And I did not get interested until a few minutes later when I saw a blue concrete truck. I thought, "Lord, are You speaking to me?" The very next morning I was directed to some scripture. Bear with me here. I did not get pictures of the concrete trucks (I know you're disappointed), so you'll have to take a look at some of my bitties.


Then Yeshua went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And He said to them, "Do you see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down. " ~Matthew 24:1-2

Like I said, "bear with me," He is not taking down my house yet. Think spiritually for a moment. Remember, He is building something.

Yes, eventually the world and the modern church structure will completely come down, yet in the midst of people against people, famines, wars and rumors of wars, pestilences and earthquakes in various places, (Matthew 24) Yeshua is building His kingdom, not a world order under world rule, but His order under His rule. Until He returns, we will be about His business using His Word as the measuring rod of truth and justice, even as the world turns chaotically  against us, His people.

but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. For Yahweh is a consuming fire. ~Hebrews 12:26-29

For we are God's fellow workers: you are God's field, you are God's building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Do you not know that you (believer) are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.~1 Corinthians 3:9-17 

Yes, our physical buildings are important while we're here, but more important is our spiritual ones and using both for His kingdom purposes.

What Can The Righteous Do? Part 3

Yahweh’s Revelation To Elijah

Then He said, "Go out and stand

on the mountain before the Lord."

And behold, the Lord passed by,

and a great and strong wind

tore into the mountains

and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord,

but the Lord was not in the wind;

and after the wind an earthquake,

but the Lord was not in the earthquake;

and after the earthquake a fire,

but the Lord was not in the fire;

and after the fire a still small voice.

So it was when Elijah heard it,

that he wrapped his face in his mantle

and went out and stood

in the entrance of the cave.

Suddenly a voice came to him, and said,

"What are you doing here, Elijah?"

And he said,

"I have been very zealous

for the Lord God of hosts;

because the children of Israel

have forsaken Your covenant,

torn down Your altars,

and killed Your prophets with the sword.

I alone am left;

and they seek to take my life."

~1 Kings 19:11-14

Although they are now with Yeshua, I have fond memories of visiting my grandparents through the years. The home of my fathers parents was mostly quiet with the exception of a small monster of a chihuahua named, Pipsqueak. She was old and mostly blind until one came too close and she was quite an obstacle to face for small children as my cousin and I cautiously navigated the house. Eventually I did overcome the fear as I grew bigger and wiser and though I never gained her affection, I was actually sad when Pipsqueak departed this world. Her bark was worse than her bite.

As I grew up I noticed a plaque on the wall of my grandparents home which said, "Oh God, Your sea is so great and my boat is so small." It caught my attention every time I visited and I knew it was true as the trials and fears of life grew with me. I was inspired with wonder and awe at just, "Who was God?".

Eventually I came to realize that there was so much more to Him than a book with a set of rules to follow like chores. He actually knows who I am. He made me for the purpose of being victorious in this crazy messed up world, to do my part in His incredible plan to overcome evil in the world. And on top of that, He would be with me even when stuff gets scary. This is the offer to each and every soul that He created. Why would anyone turn that down?

The Challenge

Elijah, a great prophet of Yahweh (God), challenged the false yet powerful religious system of the day and had a great victory. Queen Jezabel and her minions were so angry that they wanted to kill Elijah, and so he fled in fear. The Lord strengthened him with a snack and a nap and then encouraged him with His still small voice, "Elijah, what are you doing here?" Yahweh assured him that he was not the only one of His children left in the world and that He still had something important for Elijah to do, which he did. (1 Kings 19) 

He calms our fears and helps us pull through the most trying of circumstances.

Shema - Hear and Obey

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart ~ Deuteronomy 6:4-6  This is the first part of what is called in Hebrew, the "Shema"(schmah), which means, not only to hear, but also to obey.


How can we know this Yahweh? He gave us His Word, the Bible, which tells His beautiful and unique story from the beginning of time. And when we accept His invitation for salvation through His One and only Son, Yeshua/Jesus, we are given the precious gift of the Ruach Ha Kodesh/Holy Spirit to teach us and to guide us in His perfect will.

Certainly we can glean from pastors, teachers, Godly friends, books and other resources, but our primary source of instruction should come from our personal study in the Word and listening to His still small (occasionally audible) voice which comes through the Ruach. The life examples set forth throughout scripture were people just like us who sometimes failed, but persevered in faith and in truth.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. ~John 14:26

Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still. Teach a righteous man and he will increase in learning. The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One (Yeshua) is understanding. For through Me your days will be many and years will be added to your life. ~Proverbs 9:9-11

Make every effort (KJV says, "study") to present yourself before God as tried and true, as an unashamed worker cutting a straight path with the Word of truth. ~2 Timothy 2:15

As for you, the anointing (the Ruach) which you received from Him abides in you, and you and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as Hos anointing teaches you about all things, and is true (to the Word) and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. ~1 John 2:27


After the time of Israel's Babylonian captivity, many of the Jews did not return to the land of Israel. A Jewish girl became queen in the land of Susa. Her people, the Jews, were hated and in danger of annihilation, so her uncle Mordecai instructed her to intercede to the king on behalf of her people. The Jews were God's people. They were raised and taught to live righteously and they had learned that their disobedience to righteousness had gotten them into the trouble of captivity in the first place.

Esther did not have to question what the right thing to do was, she already knew. She also knew that her entrance to the king's court without being summoned could cause her to be put immediately to death. Fasting and prayer were in order and even though Yahweh is not mentioned in this thrilling megillah (book of Esther), His presence is very much implied.

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: "Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain cmpletely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" ~Esther 4:13-14

Esther used wisdom, discernment and knowledge of Yahweh to be obedient for this righteous cause and her life along with those of her people were spared. Both Elijah as well as Esther had to overcome fear in faith in order to be obedient.

Your ears will hear a word behind you (the Ruach), "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left. ~Isaiah 30:21

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. ~Ezekiel 36:27 

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. ~Yeshua, John 14:15

Psalm 63 – My Soul Thirsts For You

A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

O God, You Are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh faints for You, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary, beholding Your power and glory.

Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You.

So I will bless You as long as I live; in Your name I will lift up my hands.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise You with joyful lips,

when I remember You upon my bed, and meditate on You in the watches of the night;

for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I will sing for joy.

My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.
But those who seek to destroy my life shall go into the depths of the earth;

they shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for jackals.

But the king shall rejoice in God; all who swear by Him shall exult, for the mouths of liars will be stopped.


As times continue to be uncertain and it seems that people are becoming more divided, young versus old, left versus right, believer versus non believer, etc., we must keep in mind that those who oppose and persecute followers of Yeshua are simply deceived and controlled by sin and spiritual blindness. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. ~1 Corinthians 6:11

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down of arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God... ~2 Corinthians 10:3-5 

Praise and prayer are the most powerful weapons there are for battling in the heavenlies. Praising Yahweh, and praying for loved ones as well as for our enemies (against their actions, but for their salvation) is what we are called to do. 


Until God opens the next door, praise Him in the hallway. ~unknown  I could not find who actually said this, but it really is true. God covets our praise, and isn't it true that we ourselves are more willing to listen and be generous to those who encourage us with kind words and are thankful for us? Praise opens doors. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. ~Psalm 150:6  and ....give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ for you. ~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, (as they were in prison) and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened. ~Acts 16:25-26


Books and books and books have been written, and sermon after sermon after sermon have been preached on prayer, so I will keep it simple here. God knows our heart, but He wants to hear from us anyway. We are His children, so let us approach our Abba with such wonder and amazement as a small child approaches a parent. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. ~Psalm 145:18  

Then you will call on Me, and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you will search for Me with all your heart. ~Jeremiah 29:12-13

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And calling to Him a child, He put him in the midst of them and said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ~Matthew 18:1-4

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ~1 John 5:14

...they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. ~Isaiah 40:31 

Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays. ~Soren Kierkegaard

What Can The Righteous Do? Part 1

Psalm 11 – Faith In The Lord’s Righteousness

In the Lord I put my trust; How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain"?

For look! The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string, That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.

If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?

Wow! Are the foundations being destroyed right under our feet? As times grow increasingly chaotic, it is so important to stay close to the Savior. We desire healing, revival, restoration and defeat of the enemy who seeks to destroy us, and we may very well see some of these things happen. So what can we do? In this three part series we will cover some of these elements which include faith, repentance, praise, prayer, instruction and obedience. 


Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of realities not seen. For by it the elders received commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the Word of God, so that what is seen did not come from anything visible. ~Hebrews 11:1-3

The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the wicked one who loves violence His soul hates.

Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.


For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.

Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, Gideon, David and many others through the centuries (Hebrews 11): why were they considered righteous and blameless? We know from our studies that they were not perfect. It was because they walked with God. It is this close and regular communication with our Abba Father through Yeshua (relationship) where we receive our daily, and sometimes hourly, instructions and assignments which produce our confidence in Him and then acts of loving kindness which convicts the world.

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It's simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step. ~Joni Erickson Tada

Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time. ~Oswald Chambers

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He Is, and that He Is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. ~Hebrews 11:6


If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Which people? Not unbelievers. Specifically, God's people. The ways of the world are wicked and we are called to not fit into it, we are called to stand out like a sore thumb, and to proclaim Yahweh's righteousness. And what will He do? All of those things we are longing for.

True repentance is firm and constant, and makes us war with the evil that is in us, not for a day or a week, but without end and without intermission. ~John Calvin  

But He gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. ~James 4:6-8   

If we say we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. ~1 John 1:8-9

The Anticipation

Shavout/ Pentecost

There is a 7 week countdown period from Passover to Pentecost called the Omer. In the days of Moses following the deliverance from Egypt, the children of Israel counted the days as they waited in anticipation for the revelation of God's law. We now know it as a type and forshadowing of the ultimate encounter with God, after the resurrection of our perfect Passover Lamb, Who Is Yeshua, Ha Machiach, at Pentecost, also known as the Festival of Weeks, the giving of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit). All of the post resurrection appearances of Jesus occurred during this 7 week period. It is a time of Jubilee. 

After the crucifixion of our Lord, people were reeling in shock, yet they were also hearing rumors that He was appearing to many, alive. It was a time of uncertainty, but because of their tradition, they also knew that it was a time for repentance as well as anticipation.

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. ~Acts 2:1-4

These Times Of Uncertainty

We are now experiencing great times of uncertainty. In little over a month's time, out world has significantly changed because of the Covid 19 pandemic. We long for normalcy but we no longer know what that means. Many of us hesitate to call "Maranatha" (Lord, come quickly) because we have unsaved family members yet to come into the sheepfold. Church meetings are risky because of infection but we desperately need each other. 

I have to say that the enemy has been working overtime to keep me from writing and posting. The stress of lock down is getting to all of us. I think I understand now how zoo animals feel. I feel the need to do something, but I cannot concentrate. All the while, I have elderly parents who need help and live 5 hours away, we have a half built house, my daughter had to temporarily close her business, etc. I am sure that all of you have similar concerns. 

I look forward and feel positive about taking gradual steps toward opening up the world again, even if it is a bit different. When the children of Israel went to cross the Jordan River to enter Jericho, the priests had to trust God and take the first step of faith into the water before the waters parted for them to cross over. (Joshua 3)

This morning my husband and I took a step of faith and went to a restaurant for breakfast and the business owners also took the step to open their dining room, with tables spaced out accordingly. Of course, I do not expect everyone to jump in and act as if there is no danger, but at the same time, it is my belief that a few healthy people must move forward. The enemy wants to keep us ignorant, weak and isolated.

I would like to mention that I am personally not in favor of a government mandated vaccine. I believe there are several promising alternative treatments that are unfortunately under reported and inaccurately reported. It is very troubling that much information that we have a right to know about is purposely being censored.

A one option only, mandated "official" treatment, media/narrative, lock down, or anything else that if not accepted by a group or individual, would keep them from participating in daily business, is just one step closer to the installation of the mark of the beast. Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can but or sell unless he has the mark, that is the name of the beast or the number of its name. ~Revelation 13:17

Things Hoped For

All that being said, I believe that God still has plans for America as well as other nations to be a light to the world for the Gospel of Jesus Christ if we hold fast to truth to keep our lamp stand burning and endure to the end. (Revelation 2 and 3) Would that include a great awakening and end time revival? I hope so. But eventually we will all have to come out from hiding and take a stand. 

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father Who Is in heaven. ~Matthew 5:14-16 

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. ~Hebrews 11:1-3

Great Expectations

So what shall we anticipate? Pentecost should always be a time of great expectation. I cannot wait to see what our Lord is going to do! He knows our fears as well as our needs. Passover And Quarantine 2020

Putting the Feast post into my house building journal seems appropriate this time. It is our first Passover Seder in the new house. What a perfectly beautiful evening it was with the family. We spent Firstfruits/Resurrection morning watching a church service together. I hope your holiday time was special also.

As for the quarantine, for myself and my husband, life is not too out of the ordinary, except that we now have no construction help. Our building process involves myself, my husband in his time off and occasionally our children. Amazingly, Praise Yeshua, we are making slow progress and are learning to enjoy the process.


This year has been different for everyone in such a way that none of has ever experienced. It was like that at the time of the very first Passover when Moses led the Children of Israel out of Egypt and also when Yeshua came to dwell among the people to identify Himself as Messiah and become the perfect sacrifice for all of mankind. What is God showing us now?

Time will tell, but in the meantime let us keep Him at the center, love our families, and not allow the unfolding events to make us unsettled. This too shall pass, but let us not be left the same as we were before. What a time to be alive!!!

So teach us to number our days, so that we may get a heart of wisdom. Relent, Adonai! How long?  Have compassion on Your servants. Satisfy us in the morning with your love, so we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Gladden us for as many days as you have humbled us, as many years as we have seen misery. We Are NOT Afraid

We have an invisible enemy. We call him Satan. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. ~1 Peter 5:8 He is a thief whose goal is to steal, kill, and destroy ~John 10:10, especially those with the favor of God upon their lives. Most of the time he uses unfortunate souls to do his bidding, such as Cain, Nimrod, Pharoah, Jezabel, Haman, the Herods, Judus Iscariot, etc. Throughout history there have been others with these same characteristics and goals. Evil works in secret until it has power, through schemes of deception. Because we are like sheep among wolves, we must continuously be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. ~Matthew 10:16  More so now than ever.

But..... DO NOT FEAR, beloved ones, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine. ~Isaiah 43:1  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. ~2 Corinthians 10:4-6    And we know that all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.  ~Romans 8:28 

A Prayer Of Warfare

Father in heaven, we come before You, in the mighty name of Yeshua Ha Machiach. We praise You for your power and great Glory. We declare that Your name is Jehovah Gibbor (Psalm 24:8), the Lord Who Is mighty in battle. You Are Jehovah Saboath (1 Samuel 1:11), the Lord of Hosts.

We suit up with the armor of God, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, our feet, they are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take up the shield of faith, which quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). We also take up the garments of vengeance and the cloak of zeal (Isaiah 59:17). We surround ourselves with a smoke screen (Exodus 19:18) acting as a sight and sound barrier against satanic agents, interlopers, and evil spirits.

We identify the evil spirits and satanic agents that have taken up assignments against our nation, our leaders, our homes, our marriages, our families, our workplaces, our businesses, and our economy. We speak that our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God to the tearing down of strongholds, the casting down of arguments and of every high thing which exalts itself against the knowledge of Messiah (2 Corinthians 10:4). There are more with us than there are with them (2 Kings 6:16) and we declare that your angels hearken unto the voice of your Word (Psalm 103:20).

Therefore we arm Your angelic armies with Your Word and loose carnage against the enemy that has surrounded us, persecuted us, opposed us, and resisted us. We release arrows, lightnings, hailstones, and coals of fire (Psalm 18:13-14). We scatter the enemies that have gathered themselves against us with famine (Ezekiel 5:16) and devouring storms (Psalms 83:15-17). We engage the spirits that have assembled from underwater locations and speak a sea quake. We speak that they are trapped in prisons assembled round about them locking them into pocket realms characterized by dry wind (Jeremiah 4:11). We call for the drying up of the enemy's waters. We release engines of war (Ezekiel 26:9), instruments of war (1 Samuel 8:12), and instruments of death (Psalm 7:13) upon the agents and devices of darkness, in the name of Yeshua.

We choose to tread upon serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:10). The evil agents must be smitten by the rod of iron (Revelation 2:26-27). We loose the battle axe of God (Jeremiah 51:20) into the encampments of darkness and target obstacles at their roots. The choirs and harmonies of darkness will suffer at the release of the blast of God (Job 4:9) and the rebuke from the voice of the Most High (2 Samuel 22:14). We are children of God and ambassadors of heaven (Ephesians 6:20). We were not put here to suffer bullying at the hands of a defeated kingdom. We spite our enemies and exalt the name of Yeshua, the name that is above every name, at Whose name every knee must bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

We set fire to the enemies strategies with the fiery stream of God (Daniel 7:10). We plant snares and traps on every evil assignment against our lives calling them booby trapped. Ravenous birds devour wondrously in the encampments of darkness (Ezekiel 39:4). Locusts (Exodus 10), devour the evil words and curses spoken against us, our households, our destinies, our ministries, and everything under our stewardship. We engage with the heavenly bodies and employ the stars, declaring that just as the stars fought from their courses against Sisera (Judges 5:20), so the stars are deployed  in agendas to advance the government of God in heaven and on the earth.

We are more than conquerors in Messiah Yeshua (Romans 8:37). We declare that as we move out of fear, for perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), fear of the day and fear of the night (Deuteronomy 28:66) is overtaking the governments of evil in the spirit realm. Tempest, strike the evil powers and do not relent (Isaiah 29:6). Deep sleep (Isaiah 29:10) overtake the enemies that are fleeing, impaling them in their efforts to escape such that they feel the full impact of their rebuke.

We declare portals, wormholes and escape routes are shut down in every realm, age timeline, dimension, frequency and vibration, past, present, and future to infinity. May the warhorses of heaven tread down those that rise up against the name of Yeshua Ha Machiach and the power of His might. We declare a massive clearing in the spiritual atmosphere and environments of our lives and those connected to us and we thank You, God Most High, that You came to punish the hosts of the high ones on high and the kings of the earth (Isaiah 24:21). AMEN.

Happy Purim 2020

Do you have influence? Everyone does to some extent whether we are royalty or not. In the scheme of things, God has placed each one of us in a sphere of influence. He has given each person gifts, talents, wealth and even lack thereof, to use as tools for the purpose of His glory. Remember, Esther, even though she was a favored queen, she was also a harem slave. Even she had her limits.

Who is in your sphere? We have family, coworkers, acquaintances, which can cause enough stress and turmoil in our lives. And then we also have enemies within our close circles, our communities and in the world, many of whom we are unaware of and if we did know, exposing them would be risky. We would like to be at peace with our enemies, but we must never appease evil merely to get along.

When we become a part of God's kingdom, we get to participate in what He is doing. Sometimes this can involve great risk in which we must be vigilant in prayer to make sure we carefully follow His instruction because innocent lives including our own are at stake. 

"Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and flog you in their synagogues. You will be brought before governors and kings because of Me, as a witness to them and to the Gentiles. But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you should say, for it shall be given to you in that hour what you should say. For it is not you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." ~Jesus, Matthew 10:16-20

Life is valuable to God. He created each and every life for His purposes (Psalm 139). The enemy, Satan and those who follow him (even unintentionally), comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), but he uses deception as cover. God created nations and governments for the purpose of keeping order and justice, for preservation of life and punishment of crime. When this gets out of order, it takes good honest people (many times only a few) put in positions of influence at all levels by God to set things right. This is delicate and there is always opposition.

I encourage you to read the book of Esther out loud with your family. She and her uncle Mordecai put their own lives at risk for the sake of many innocent lives. Because of their obedience to God, their people, the Jews, were given the means and permission to defend their lives against the orders set in place by the evil schemes of Haman and his henchmen. In the end, Haman was hung on the very gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Poetic justice, this is Purim!!!
