A Woman's Mission in Life

By Suzanne

God has made a way for us, He is the Waymaker, and now, in this day, at this time, in this season, for these women, God has renewed our voices that we may speak His word boldly and share His truth with love with a lost and divided world. Like Esther, like Sarah, like Rahab, like Deborah, like Naomi, like Elizabeth, like Mary, Martha, Lydia, Phebe, Priscilla and all of the unnamed heroines of scripture, we were born for such a time as this. Our voices are necessary and our actions speak even louder than our words in our homes, our neighborhoods, our cities, our countries and our world.

Through the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, God has loosed us from the bondage of sin, freeing us to speak His truth in the midst of the principalities and powers of this world with love and with boldness, to speak blessing over our lives and our families and to declare in Jesus' name, It is well with my soul.

We need to drink deeply from the font of Living Water that can only come from Jesus Christ, our Blessed Savior; to apply the healing balm of the Word of God to the unique challenges that stretch our hearts and souls in unexpected ways with each new decade, while we are being transformed from glory to glory by the Holy Spirit of God Almighty - joyously, dauntingly, always by His grace - so that when our Lord appears, we shall be like Him; as the women of God that He created us to be, full of salt, and light, and joy and peace and every good and perfect blessing that can only come from above, for the glory of God.

Come and meet us at the well, as we gather together in faith, hope and love, in Jesus' name.

Speak Comfort is prayerfully designed as a resource for women of faith in our 50's, 60's and beyond. We cherish our daughters, adore our granddaughters and delight in our younger sisters in Christ. We pray, we serve, we are faithful in giving of our time, our love and our resources and in order for us to replenish and renew, we need a fire of our own to gather around, a well to drink from, with voices that speak to us, about us and for us as mature women of wisdom and like precious faith.

The enemy attempted to steal our voices when he sold Eve a lie in Eden, Eve passed that lie on to Adam, and all of their future generations were born into the poverty of that original fall from grace. But God gave us the promise of His seed, the seed of the woman, Jesus Christ, Who crushed the head of the lie itself on Calvary.

In Him we are born again, and through His Holy Spirit, Jesus renews a right spirit within us, He gives us His compassionate heart of flesh for our lonely and broken hearts. He restores our souls and establishes our minds in His truth.

And when Jesus saw the woman who had been bowed over with the spirit of infirmity for eighteen years, He said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And He laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. (Luke 13:11 KJV)

...to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. (Isaiah 61:3 KJV)

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. (Proverbs 31:26)
